"Game of Thrones" has been going strong since the first season was aired in 2011. The show got 38 Emmy awards for 6 seasons to date. However, this year it wasn't awarded any because the 7 season started this summer, too late to be considered for this year's awards. As the results of our "Statista Survey Film & TV Awards 2017" show, the series is the most watched TV saga in America, followed by the newcomer show "Stranger Things", which set off in 2016 and was awarded 5 Emmys this year.
