Beeronomics: The Price of a Pint Around Europe

There are places in Europe where beer is considered a staple food.

However, beer prices around the continent vary greatly and unlike the price of a Big Mac, beer prices are not primarily determined by the cost of living in the city you decide to drink a pint.

Prices differ due to the alcohol policy in the respective country, availability, the quality of the beer as well as the establishment in which you decide to pour down a glass of the amber juice. While a single glass of beer can cost more than 10 dollars in Norway, in Prague can get almost 6.5 pints for the same money.
