St. Patrick's Day

Government sick days after St. Patrick's Day

This year, revellers in Ireland were lucky that St. Patrick's Day fell on a Friday. That meant that the majority of people could nurse their hangovers at home at home on the sofa instead of struggling through work or pulling a sickie. According to the Irish government, there are quite a few sick days among their staff on March 18th every year. The infographic below looks at the sick days taken in 2015 and the Department of Social Protection had the most, 76.
