The AI assistant Perplexity incorporates Statista data seamlessly into its tool via the API service Statista Connect. This enables further development of the AI service, towards higher and more up-to-date data quality and more fact-based, verified answers – enhancing users’ trust in the responses generated. For users, this means that Statista's global database – including premium content - appears directly in the AI search engine’s answers, providing trusted, cited and expert-level information. This opens a whole new data journey for Perplexity users with a more helpful, deeper and quantifiable layer of information embedded in the user’s search results and answers.
